EHR Implementation Assistant
- Learn and adapt to new EHR systems, actively participating in design, development, and implementation of system enhancements and workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to understand their needs and workflows, ensuring the new system supports efficient and accurate patient care processes.
- Assist in quality assurance testing and performance validation of the new EHR system to ensure reliability, compliance, and user satisfaction.
- Support project activities by helping manage resources according to schedules, reinforcing deadlines, and applying project standards.
- Help document report projects and changes to existing reports and contribute to developing guidelines for report standardization.
- Provide general support to staff as needed.
- Candidates with demonstrated interest in computer systems and technology—such as completion of relevant courses or certifications—are strongly encouraged.
- 1-3 years of experience working in behavioral health environment
- Knowledge of behavioral health terminology and healthcare workflows.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and database management.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Understanding of HIPAA and data security standards.
- Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging
- Understand basic Internet and client/server architectures
- Understand how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects
- Effectively communicate with team members and contribute appropriately to conversations
