As a **Security Officer - Patrol Driver Chemical Facility** in **Wilmington, DE** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at this chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrolling duties. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter, with attention to areas relevant to chemical and petrochemical operations.
+ Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities observed during patrols.
+ Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry within the location.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related objectives and incident response.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
