Job Title: Cutting Utility
Location: Conover, NC 28613
Duration: 6 Months
Shift:
* Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Pay Rate: $19/hr.
* Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Pay Rate: $16/hr.
## Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Cutting Utility Associates to join a fast-paced production environment in Conover, NC. This role involves supporting production operations by moving work-in-progress materials, operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with department workflow. Candidates must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing setting.
## Key Responsibilities
* Operate an electric pallet jack to move materials within the department
* Utilize aerator equipment to air board as needed
* Support daily production and warehouse operations
* Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area
* Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
* Assist team members and supervisors with production-related tasks
## Requirements
* Ability to walk and stand for the full 12-hour shift
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Willingness and capability to learn new processes and equipment
* Steel toe shoes required from Day 1
* Previous warehouse or production experience is a plus but not required
## Additional Information
* Opportunity for overtime
* Opportunity for permanent conversion based on performance
* Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off rotation
* Candidates can start with a cleared drug test while background check is pending
* Site tours are required prior to start
