Group Home Program Assistant
Full-Time & Part-Time | Hourly
We are hiring a Group Home Program Assistant to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role focuses on daily care, skill-building, and community involvement to help residents live as independently as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, mobility)
- Support residents with housekeeping, cooking, and money management
- Administer medications after training
- Provide transportation and support community outings
- Maintain documentation, incident reports, and basic financial records
- Promote a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
- Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle and phone
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Training Provided:
- CPR/First Aid, Safe Driving, Safety, and Bloodborne Pathogens (required within first 10 days of hire)
Salary negotiable based on experience and training/education
