Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Dobson, NC 27017
Duration: 7 Weeks
Schedule:

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  Pay Rate: $20 – $24 per hour

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative healthcare environment where health education and patient outreach are prioritized.

• Greet and room patients in a professional and courteous manner
• Obtain and document patient vital signs
• Assist with scheduling and patient coordination
• Answer phone calls and manage front desk duties
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen collection
• Administer vaccines and assist with immunizations
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Provide clinical and administrative support as needed

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in EMR systems required
• Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
• Commitment to patient education and quality care
