THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a transformative Vice President of Business Applications to lead and modernize their internal application ecosystem across Sales, Finance, IT, Support, and Data & Analytics. This leader will serve as the enterprise owner of Salesforce CPQ, driving strategy, governance, and optimization while ensuring seamless integration with all connected systems. The VP will embed automation and AI into their business processes, strengthen data capabilities, improve cross-functional alignment, and build a scalable, efficient, and high-performing operational foundation,
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the Salesforce CPQ strategy and architecture, including product catalog, pricing rules, approvals, quoting workflows, and contract lifecycle processes.
Lead the administration, governance, security, and user management of Salesforce and connected applications.
Integrate Salesforce and CPQ with NetSuite, Workday, BI platforms, and support tools to ensure seamless quote-to-cash workflows.
Manage multidisciplinary teams across Systems Operations, Business Process, and Data Engineering to ensure data quality, system reliability, and strong end-user support.
Drive enterprise-wide process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency with a focus on CPQ performance.
Oversee the architecture, governance, and scalability of the enterprise data warehouse and BI reporting pipelines.
Develop self-service dashboards and data models to provide accessible, accurate insights across the organization.
Implement AI-driven automation and predictive analytics to optimize CPQ, operational workflows, and decision-making.
Partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Technology to identify operational needs, solve challenges, and align systems with business goals.
Optimize vendor relationships, licensing, and system investments for cost efficiency and performance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
10+ years leading Business Applications, Business Operations, or related enterprise systems teams.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across systems, process, and data functions.
Deep Salesforce expertise, including CPQ, automation, integrations, and user governance.
Strong knowledge of Workday, NetSuite, and other enterprise platforms.
Proven ability to integrate and optimize third-party operational tools.
Experience building and managing enterprise data warehouses, BI pipelines, and reporting environments; Snowflake experience preferred.
Background in business process optimization and change management.
Experience deploying AI-driven automation and self-service capabilities.
Strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and executive partnership skills.
