As a Security Officer - Gate Post Driver in Saint Pauls, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location where you will help manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor entrances for security-related concerns. You will remain visible, document activity, communicate clearly, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required while supporting a reliable, people-first team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing badges, and directing traffic for incoming and outgoing vehicles and deliveries.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, maintain access logs, and report unusual activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and coordinating notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
