Cabinetry & Millwork Finishing Technician
Do you take pride in perfect color matches and glass-smooth finishes? Are you at your best in a spray booth, working to exact specs for commercial builds? If so, this role is for you.
What you'll handle
- Prep surfaces: sand, fill, mask, and clean wood and other substrates.
- Finish application: stains, paints, lacquers, sealers, and protective coatings with spray equipment and hand tools.
- Color mastery: mix and match to approved samples and project specifications.
- Quality assurance: inspect for consistency and defects; perform precise touch-ups.
- Documentation: read shop drawings, finish schedules, and work orders accurately.
- Upkeep: maintain spray booths, finishing gear, and the work area to high safety and cleanliness standards.
- Safety first: follow chemical handling, ventilation, and PPE protocols every time.
- Teamwork: coordinate with production to meet timelines and deliverables.
What makes you a great fit
- 2+ years of commercial millwork, cabinet, or woodworking finishing experience (preferred).
- Deep familiarity with stains, paints, lacquers, and proven finishing techniques.
- Skilled with spray guns, sanders, and associated finishing equipment.
- Excellent color matching and finish consistency across multiple pieces.
- High attention to detail and strong craftsmanship.
- Comfortable lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and repeating tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and effective in a fast-paced shop environment.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift.
- Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
