Application Engineer (Automation Equipment)

                                                 Hybrid Position

                       What will you be tasked to accomplish?

*Conceptualize, create and price engineered to order solutions and proposals while editing CAD drawings as needed

*Communicate with customers gathering information about their preferences with regard to design solutions

*Travel to customer sites as needed for troubleshooting/technical support for installation and possible repair

*Provide customers with application assistance and guidance as needed via email and/or phone communications. 

*20% travel to customers and trade shows

                     What you should be able to bring….

*BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

*A minimum of 5 + years of engineering/estimating experience ideally with factory automation equipment or controls

*Familiar with ERP CRM systems preferably with SoildWorks, Sales Force, AutoCad, M2K and Microsoft Office

*Excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

*An understanding of the manufacturing process involving metal fabrication, welding and machining processes
