About the Role

The Learning & Performance Administrator is responsible for the development and delivery of all staff training programs, employee development, and the facilitation of In-person Onboarding and Orientation. Designed with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, the focus of this role is to expand the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within an organization. The chosen individual will have strong knowledge of learning strategies, training development and a strength in proactively supporting managers and employees to drive employee growth and development. The position is based in Raleigh, NC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

40% Staff Training & Development - overall responsible for developing and managing all staff training

  • Develop all compliance training and delivery in compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Support Subject Matter Experts in course planning, development and evaluation or department or team specific training.
  • Report progress on training to COO, & Director, People Operations
  • Maintain LMS for delivery of all online training and record keeping
  • Assist in the identification of training needs and development of training initiatives for a group and for individual basis.
  • Proactively support employee development and make resource recommendations.
  • Helps to develop and manages training budget
  • Develops and delivers people manager training on an as needed basis.
  • Collaborates with Donor Engagement to develop role based training for all MPE facilitators

20% Performance & Goal Management - responsible for developing and managing the organizational performance and goal management program

  • Develops and administers ongoing performance feedback system and ensures managers are completed accurately and timely
  • Co-partners with COO to ensure organizational OKRs are developed, facilitates training, and Prepares completion reports and proactively reaches out to manager and staff to support completion and upper management for accountability
  • Partners with managers to develop performance improvement plans

20%Onboarding - overall responsible for the successful integration of all new employees to support early success and retention

  • Leads new employee orientation and serves as primary facilitator
  • Coordinates all logistics to set-up a new employees with company resources
  • Coordinates all travel and meeting logistics for orientation
  • Develops and maintains all orientation forms, materials, and trainings to ensure information is accurate and high quality
  • Develops internal communication to welcome new staff and update the organization when new staff join
  • Collaborates with managers to ensure new employees have a 90 day plan and follows through to assess completion of new hire period
  • Periodically evaluate effectiveness and modify as needed

15% Employee Engagement & Recognition - responsible for leading the development and execution of a broad employee rewards and recognition program, employee engagement activities and measuring employee engagement

  • Develops, plans and executes annual employee engagement activities.
  • Ensures all employee engagement activities are coordinated, communicated and implemented successfully
  • Co-develops and executes annual employee engagement survey and random pulse surveys, to measure and learn about current employee engagement
  • Coordinate selection of recipients and award presentations.
  • Promote acknowledgement of staff birthdays and anniversaries and propose supporting programs.

5% LMS (Engagedly) & Document Manager (UKG) Management

  • Maintain LMS (Engadely) for delivery of all online training, compliance, and record keeping.
  • Maintain UGK Document Manager for delivery and tracking of employee files.

Perform other duties as assigned or become necessary by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Knowledge of learning strategies
  • Proficiency with Google suite and/or MS Office
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
  • Must be self-directed and work well on a geographically distributed team
  • Experience developing LMS training materials.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • COLF, CPLP, CTDP or other training or learning professional certification
  • PHR or SHRM certification
  • Knowledge of employment laws
  • Experience with Engagedly or similar platforms.
