Landscape Spray Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to turf, plants, and landscaped areas according to established schedules and safety guidelines
• Monitor and maintain chemical inventory, ensuring proper storage and usage
• Operate and calibrate spray systems and related equipment
• Work within assigned budgets for materials and treatments
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding treatment plans and schedules
• Maintain assigned materials and equipment to maximize their useful life
• Observe and inspect outdoor spaces to assess treatment needs and results

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record and practice safe driving
• Experience with landscape spraying or similar outdoor application work
• Knowledge of chemicals, turf, and plant care
• Familiarity with spray systems, including operation and calibration
• Ability to follow treatment schedules and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Pesticide license is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, heavy lifting, and walking for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain
