Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Scale House Administrator. The successful candidate will weigh trucks for accurate product accounting provide customer service in the scale area create spreadsheets prepare reports perform other administrative duties as needed and uphold safety and housekeeping efforts at the Scale House. The successful candidate must be willing to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime weekends and holidays. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• 2 or more years administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of inbound/outbound truck scale operations
