Work Schedule: Hybrid

A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate or Counsel to join its expanding Corporate Practice Group in the Charlotte office. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with sophisticated clients across a variety of industries, supporting commercial contracting, corporate governance, and transactional matters.

The firm advises both public and private companies and offers meaningful hands-on experience, client exposure, and collaboration with seasoned attorneys from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supply, purchase, service, and transportation contracts .
• Provide business-focused legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters.

• Support a variety of corporate transactions and commercial projects with senior attorney oversight.

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to solve complex business challenges and advance strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand client operations and goals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proactive, curious mindset with the ability to ask questions and learn quickly.

• Team-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

• M&A experience preferred but not required.
