Substation Planner III
Job Description: Substation Planner III Location: Garner, United States Start Date: 09 February 2026 Pay Rate: $54 Per Hour Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Planner III to join our team in Garner. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of substation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and experience working in the utility industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed plans and specifications for substation projects Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met Perform site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and compliance with regulations Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior planners and engineers Collaborate with stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation planning and design Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations Excellent communication and project management skills
