Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1820 - $1870 per week

• Location: Greensboro, NC (zip 27401) – North Carolina travel nursing jobs
• Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: September 16, 2025
• End Date: December 16, 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), weekends/holidays as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (North Carolina or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to pass mandatory EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Proficiency in blood product administration, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, IV/PICC line management, pre/post hemodialysis, renal failure, surgical drains, telemetry, rapid response teams, and wound care
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness to float to other units/campuses as needed
• No local candidates accepted (must reside outside 50-mile radius)

RN Responsibilities – Med/Surg Telemetry Nursing Jobs

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses (observation, respiratory, palliative/hospice, psychiatric, diabetes, post-surgical care)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV/PICC lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, physical therapy, respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy)
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
• Float to other units or campuses within the health system as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Provide compassionate support for palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Adhere to hospital policies, including zero-tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences
