1st Shift Maintenance Technician

The purpose of this role is to perform preventative maintenance and maintenance on machines that produce bottling for industries such as Energy Drinks and Hemp products. This position is available at two locations, Mooresville and Atlanta. The Maintenance Technician ensures that the facility's equipment and machines are maintained properly and are functioning correctly, oversees the facility's maintenance program, and provides technical training to operators and other team members.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
• Identify and analyze equipment or machinery failures and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
• Calibrate equipment and instruments as assigned.
• Support production needs, leading and assisting on production line changeovers.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, and water purification/filtration systems.
• Ensure continuous improvement in speed and accuracy of product changeovers and preventative maintenance plans.
• Maintain housekeeping of all work areas during and following performed work.
• Install and troubleshoot production equipment.

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to change 480v motors.
• Understanding of VFD, electrical, mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with 3 phase electrical systems.

• Owning personal tools is required.
• Welding skills are a plus but not necessary.
• Experience in a GMP environment is beneficial.

The role is based in a 128K facility that is non-climate controlled, requiring adherence to GMP standards by wearing beard guards, gloves, and hair nets when permissible. The production environment is fast-paced, producing 300 cans per minute, including glass bottles.

This is a Contract position based out of Mooresville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mooresville,NC.
