Job Description

As a Security Officer - School Patrol Specialist in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic educational environment. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, and visitors. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, people-first culture rooted in teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, staff, and students with directions and information while maintaining a visible presence.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and campus staff as needed during emergencies or critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
