As a Security Screener Full Time in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency response activities by providing direction during evacuations, assisting with crowd management, and reporting hazards or disruptions that could impact normal operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
