Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Fuquay Varina area who is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining and repairing production and facility equipment, including mechanical and electrical components
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Respond promptly to equipment issues and breakdowns to restore operations quickly
- Identify early signs of wear or malfunction and address them before they escalate
- Troubleshoot machinery using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate communication with supervisors regarding equipment conditions
- Support training and onboarding efforts by providing technical guidance when needed
- Keep maintenance and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a plant or industrial maintenance environment
- Strong working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Comfortable using basic math, measurements, and problem-solving techniques
- Capable of following written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and professional with a proactive work style
- Must pass a drug test and background check
