As a Security Officer Part Time Access Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness, respond to site needs with agility and reliability, and work with integrity and teamwork to create a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by completing routine reports, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
