Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that leads with agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and/or help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and/or access logs, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
