HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm - 36 Guaranteed hours
Start dates are typically negotiable

Must have:
👉 2 years of acute care experience
👉 ACLS, NIH, BLS
👉 Must be able to manage 6-7 patients depending on the shift.
👉 Urology and bowel experience (that’s our two biggest patient populations)

Procedures performed on unit:

👉 TPN, PCA, Wound Vacs, Tube feeds, PEG tubes, dobhoffs, NG tubes, Colostomies and urostomies

👉 Drains: biliary, JP, nephrostomy, urinary catheters, CBI

👉 Heparin drips, IV antibiotics

👉 Cholecystectomies, appendectomies, podiatry, bowel resections, plastics, urology surgeries and nephrectomies, hysterectomies, mastectomies, oral/maxillary, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs
