Test Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Wilmington, DE. You will design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Test Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop automated test scripts, test cases, and maintain test automation frameworks.

• Execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, performance, and stress testing.

• Analyze and report test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues in both software and automation scripts.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous feedback and faster releases.

• Maintain and improve test scripts and frameworks as software evolves, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
