Dermatologist Opportunity – Academic Setting (Greenville, North Carolina)
A healthcare system located in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Dermatologist to join a well-established and growing academic dermatology division. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative team within a respected academic environment.
Position Highlights:
- Employment with a large regional healthcare system
- Hospital privileges at a major Level 1 trauma center
- Join an established academic dermatology division
- Responsibilities include teaching dermatology and primary care residents, as well as medical students and participation in clinical research
- Approximately 90% outpatient responsibilities, including general dermatology clinic and procedures
- Flexible schedule allowing opportunities to build an academic career
- Potential leadership role within the dermatology residency training program for qualified individuals
About the Department:
The Department of Internal Medicine includes multiple specialty divisions supported by over 85 full-time faculty members and 150 support staff. Each division maintains its own specialty clinic within the health sciences system.

Requirements
General Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina or the ability to obtain prior to start
- Eligible for hospital privileges at a Level 1 trauma center
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency program
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, including teaching and/or clinical research
- Strong clinical skills in general dermatology and outpatient procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic environment
- Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
