Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and compliance with location policies and procedures.
- Assist with security-related reporting, incident documentation, and shift handoff communication while maintaining professionalism and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
