Position Overview Primary Purpose of the Position The Department of Computer Science invites applications for temporary adjunct faculty position(s). The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology and to contribute to the academic mission of the department. Responsibilities include supporting the Computer Science curriculum, teaching assigned courses, mentoring students, and adhering to all departmental and university policies, procedures, and deadlines. Primary Function of Organizational Unit The Computer Sciences Department offers quality academic programs in computer science and information technology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Minimum Experience/Education
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Candidates holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution will be considered if they possess significant research and/or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience using Python and Pandas for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Computer Science and Information Technology regulations, policies, and ethical practices.
- Committed to academic excellence, student success, and professional integrity.
Department Required Skills
- Teaching of a specified course, preparation of materials, providing support and guidance to students.
- Providing prompt/regular feedback to students about their academic performance.
- Reporting mid-semester and final grades electronically.
- Offer two hours of office time each week per 3 semester course hours.
- Administer Student Outcome Assessments and report findings.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Candidates holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution will be considered if they possess significant research and/or relevant industry experience.
