Position Objective
Ensure effective delivery of patient-centered clinical care while maintaining compliance with agency policies and state/federal standards — all within our dynamic Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program.
Required Skills, Education & Certifications
Master’s Degree (Required)
Experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse Counseling
Active LCAS or LCAS-A license (Required)
️ Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Welcome new consumers and provide program orientation.
Facilitate Matrix Model SAIOP groups (Mon–Fri, including holidays/weekends if needed).
Manage an active SAIOP caseload with individual therapy sessions (20+ mins every other week or more) .
Deliver crisis intervention and coordinate inpatient/community referrals when necessary.
Provide case management and support services to eliminate barriers to treatment (childcare, transportation, housing, etc.).
Collect and monitor UDS samples as appropriate.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in EMR for all clinical interactions.
Administrative Excellence
Complete discharges and transition plans within required timeframes.
Ensure census stability by monitoring discharges and replacements.
Develop/update individual treatment plans (PCP) and crisis plans.
Collaborate with primary care, psychiatry, and other internal/external providers.
Maintain records that meet all state, federal, and accreditation standards .
Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision, and agency collaborations.
Community Engagement & Advocacy
Coordinate with community service providers and treatment teams.
Conduct motivational interviews with absent/non-compliant consumers.
Provide advocacy for clients with legal, housing, or CPS-related needs.
Lead outreach events to strengthen community relationships.
