Our Design Consultants are responsible for building meaningful and long-term customer relationships. They have comprehensive knowledge ranging from furniture construction to design trends. They use “relationship selling” techniques through interior design consultations and makeovers to maximize selling opportunities. Our design consultants take joy in the design and selling process!

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and experienced Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results that embody our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring honesty and transparency throughout the design process.
• Work effectively as part of a team, sharing ideas, and incorporating feedback to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends and techniques, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to each project.
• Take initiative in problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop detailed design plans, including space planning, color schemes, furnishings, and materials.
• Provide effective follow-up during the design/sales process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field are encouraged but not required
• ASID, NCDIQ or related industry certifications are encouraged but not required
• Experience in high-end retail, interior design or furniture sales.
• Proficiency in computers and design software.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of residential and/or commercial projects are encouraged but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• A deep understanding of color, texture, materials, and trends.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
