Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps

Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF

Required Credentials: Education: ASN / BSN

Unit / Facility Details: Patient Ratio: 6CD - 1/5-6, acuity dependent (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1/7-8), 3K, 5A, 3L, 1T - 1/4

Shift & Scheduling: No Call Requirement

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend

Holiday Requirements: 75% of holidays required

Schedule Cycle: Every 6 weeks

Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) – could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises

6 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
