Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15.95 - $19.00 / hour*

What You'll Do as a Shipping And Receiving Warehouse Associate:

• Shipping
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation
• Verify orders for accuracy before dispatch
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners for timely delivery
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents
• Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
• Receiving
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Compare purchase orders with packing lists and received goods
• Record and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Tag and store items in designated warehouse locations
• Inventory & Warehouse Operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual logs
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Available Shifts:

Shift timings- 1st Shift (Day) and Weekends

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• 1–3 years of proven experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Familiarity with shipping carriers, freight processes, and documentation
• Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software
• Forklift certification is an advantage (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg)
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving ability and reliability
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards
• Working Conditions
• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• May require overtime during peak periods
• Background Check Required
