Imaging Service Engineer I
We are seeking a skilled Imaging Service Engineer I to join our Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) team at a leading hospital in Greensboro, NC. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of diagnostic imaging equipment while delivering exceptional customer service in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair CT, C-arm, portable X-ray, and ultrasound equipment
- Troubleshoot imaging system failures to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve equipment and workflow issues
- Document service activities and maintain accurate compliance records
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and hospital compliance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of healthcare equipment maintenance experience OR 1+ year of diagnostic imaging repair experience
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing imaging systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and service software
- Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment
Preferred Experience:
- OEM, military, or formal imaging equipment training
- Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills
