Responsibilities
- Closely monitor patients' vital signs and respond quickly to changes in their health status, including cardiac monitoring and respiratory support.
- Administer medications and treatments, manage IVs, assist with wound care, and provide advanced patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, physical therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide health education to patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care, and discharge procedures.
- Accurately document all patient care activities and maintain medical records using computerized systems.
- Be prepared to respond rapidly to emergency situations and provide appropriate care.
Requirements
Job Qualification
- One year of PCU RN experience required, completed within the last two years.
- Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state if applicable).
