Speech Pathologist
Job Responsibilities

**Treatment Strategy Development**: Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment strategies for patients.
- **Clinical Procedures**: Integrate advanced clinical techniques to perform independent clinical services.
- **Patient Assessments**: Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver targeted treatment interventions, while also providing consultative support to other healthcare professionals.

**Instrumentation Utilization**: Employ specialized instrumentation such as videofluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, stroboscopy, and relevant computer technologies to observe, gather data, and assess communication and swallowing dynamics, as well as other upper aerodigestive functions. All practices are grounded in evidence-based principles.

**Comprehensive Services**: Deliver a full spectrum of services including prevention, screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, management, counseling, and follow-up for speech and language disorders encompassing comprehension and expression across various modalities—oral, written, graphic, and manual.

**Diagnostic Testing**: Select, administer, and interpret standard diagnostic assessments, including vocabulary, articulation, and language batteries, tailored for both adult and pediatric populations.
Work Schedule
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8.5 to 9 hours daily, within the window of 7 AM to 6:30 PM, inclusive of a 30-minute to 1-hour lunch break. -
**Availability**: No weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities.
### Minimum Qualifications

**Education**: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution, comprising at least 18 semester hours in speech pathology, with a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

**Experience**: A minimum of one year of relevant experience within the preceding 24 months.

**Licensure**: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Speech Pathologist in any of the 50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

**Certification**: Must hold current Clinical Competency Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

**Life Support Certification**: Valid certification as an AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider.

**Security Requirements**: Capability to successfully undergo a government background check and obtain security clearance.
