Low Voltage Project Manager

At Jackson Electrical Contractors Inc., we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Low Voltage Project Manager to join our team! This position supports a cohesive and well-organized production setting. We are in search of someone who is just as passionate about working together, to accomplish a common goal, as they are about our industry. Our ideal candidate will have a strong history of productivity, superior quality standards, and effective relationship building. We are seeking leaders who are efficient in both job and interpersonal communication.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, a Candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representation of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
The ideal Candidate must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical publications, financial reports, specifications, drawings and blueprints. Must have knowledge including, but not limited to, building automation systems, controls, fire alarms, ddc controls, commercial and industrial electrical.
Education/Experience:
5-10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent customer-relations skills
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities
- Demonstrated proper phone and email etiquette, with an emphasis on responsiveness
- Ability to lead and organize a job and employees
- Must have previous Low Voltage experience in the field
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create an efficient work environment for our technicians through proactive communication and planning.
- Monitor field technicians to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained.
- Communicate with project Owners and Owners’ Representatives.
- Organize and procure materials and equipment for projects.
- Provide technicians with assistance in performing duties as necessary.
- Establish operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
- Attend staff meetings and company-wide meetings.
