Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designers and fabricators of distinctive high-end, custom post & beam homes with 1,000s sold and shipped worldwide since 1968, is expanding its inside sales force (in Clemmons, NC near Winston-Salem) and seeks career-oriented professional relationship salesperson. Heavy in-coming lead volume. We do not sell modular, or mobile homes – and we are not a builder. Heavy phone and email contact. All sales leads are incoming from referrals and web presence. No travel.

COMPENSATION: $75k to $100k (Includes $50k salary + incentives and bonus.)

REQUIREMENTS:

· Extensive professional relationship consumer sales experience in high-end production home sales, custom building construction, upscale real estate, housing development, post & beam building systems, prefabrication etc.)

· Knowledge of the basics of residential construction and building materials.

· Competent and comfortable working in an office by phone and email for the majority of prospective customer contacts. (Ultimately, many clients will visit, but incoming leads are worldwide.)

· Prepared to work some evenings and Saturdays.

· College degree or equivalent in experience.

· Well-traveled and/or otherwise acquainted with eastern U.S. coastal areas. (Many of our sales are in coastal areas, particularly in Florida.)

Its applications include high-end custom primary residences, resort homes, retirement homes and light commercial projects. Its structures have been shipped and built throughout the world since 1968. Topsider Homes' modern facilities are located on a 15-acre campus 10-minutes west of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, just off of I-40.

  2. Have you personally closed sales of $500K+ in a consumer (B2C) environment?
  3. Do you have experience managing and closing long sales cycle opportunities (3+ months) that require ongoing relationship building?
  4. Do you have a working knowledge of residential construction fundamentals?
  5. Are you familiar with coastal or hurricane-prone construction considerations (e.g., wind load, codes, coastal building requirements)?
  6. Are you comfortable working primarily in an office setting using phone and email, including some evenings and Saturdays?
