Community Direct Support Professional IDD

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide care, support, and companionship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), helping them accomplish their goals and reach their fullest potential. Compensation: $14.00

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals in developing new skills and achieving their goals as outlined in their Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
• Provide and maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients at home and in the community.
• Use positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to encourage growth.
• Help clients with home maintenance and daily living activities as prescribed in their plan.
• Complete accurate documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with a Team Leader and IDD Program Director for guidance and support.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and active Driver's license
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Compassionate and caring attitude with a strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Physical ability to work in a variety of environments, including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences.

Training:

• We provide all necessary training for state compliance purposes, completed on-site or virtually, with monetary compensation for your time.
