Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel assignment in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Care Center (ED) department within a hospital setting
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED/ER nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or approved equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity ED setting
