Senior Foreclosure Attorney

The Senior Foreclosure Attorney will report to the Managing Partner of Northeast Foreclosure and take primary responsibility for leading Delaware foreclosure operations. This role includes oversight of attorneys and support personnel, along with managing an individual caseload. Compensation and title will be aligned with the candidate’s experience. Applicants should have at least four years of experience working as an Associate, with a minimum of four years handling foreclosure matters and title clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal workflows and procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost reduction, and adherence to legal, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze loan documentation thoroughly to uncover deficiencies or issues that require client attention.
• Maintain clear, professional, and responsive communication with clients.
• Demonstrate strong organizational abilities and the capacity to produce accurate work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Resolve both routine and complex title defects within established timeframes.
• Review title reports, pleadings, loan files, and foreclosure-related documents to identify and correct file-level concerns.
• Draft, review, and revise reports, legal opinions, correspondence, and other written materials.
• Prepare and finalize all documentation associated with the foreclosure process.
• Lead, coach, and support team members to ensure effective departmental performance.
• Oversee and manage the statewide foreclosure portfolio.
• Exercise independent judgment in interpreting and implementing policy and procedural changes.
• Contribute to workforce planning initiatives and resource allocation strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to support consistent results and overall success.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Appear in court when required.

Supervisory Duties

• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight for staff, including coaching and evaluation.
• Monitor reporting and workflows to ensure compliance with firm policies, applicable laws, and investor guidelines at both the state and federal levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to interpret case law and offer well-reasoned legal recommendations.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Delaware State Bar required. xrczosw
