Dump Truck Driver

Team member’s primary responsibility is for the safe and efficient operation of a heavy (dump) truck.

• Be able to read a map and be familiar with the area you will be delivering the load to
• Keep truck clean, neat, and orderly
• Complete all paperwork required per NCDMV standards
• Maintain and keep DOT medical certification current
• Communicate time away from work with your team leader with sufficient notice
• Willingness to work hours as required

Education/Training/Certification:

• Class B CDL- minimum
• Tow Trailer
• OSHA Training
• First Aid/CPR

Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders regularly. Work involves frequent shoveling, raking, using hand tools and handling materials in and around trenches or uneven terrain. Requires standing or walking for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
