A facility is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

While on assignment in Western North Carolina, visit Pisgah National Forest or Mount Mitchell State Park for beautiful, mountainous views! In addition, the Biltmore Estate is a popular tourist attraction where you can tour the house and gardens!

This 6+ month position requires NC-licensed, BE/BC physicians. The case load includes 1015 CV cases daily and 3,5004,000 general cases monthly (busy OB, trauma, vascular, neuro, etc.). Shifts are flexible (8, 10, or 12 hours). CV shifts have no call or weekends, while pediatric shifts guarantee 40+ hours weekly with optional nights or weekends. General anesthesia shifts offer similar flexibility with optional in-house call. The care team model is 1 MD:34 CRNAs, mainly supervisory, though MDs can work solo cases. The practice uses Cerner and AIMS EMR. Temporary privileges are not guaranteed.
