Bench Chemist - Level 1 US_AGS

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific industry, is seeking a Bench Chemist - Level 1 to join their team. As a Bench Chemist, you will be part of the analytical team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bench Chemist - Level 1

Location: Zebulon, NC

Pay Range: $23.93 per hour

What's the Job?

• Conduct routine analytical testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and environmental samples using approved methods and various instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, Vitek, GC, UV, microscope, gram stainer, robotics).
• Generate valid data at expected levels of productivity while adhering to cGMP.
• Interpret validity of own test data and generate accurate results.
• Advise immediate supervisor or designee of all important aspects of analytical testing including deviations.
• Assist in analytical method development, validation, and transfer.

What's Needed?

• 4-year degree in Chemistry or a science-based field such as biology or biochemistry.
• 2-5 years minimum experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Specific training in HPLC, Empower, and Inhalation/Respiratory testing techniques is preferred.
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
