Lead
Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. This role leads to the configuration and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for large‑scale insurance platforms.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Lead job responsibilities include:
Lead end‑to‑end Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and implementation, including PCFs, business rules, data models, and GUnit testing.
Drive SaaS implementations or migrations for PolicyCenter v10, ensuring alignment with Guidewire Cloud standards and best practices.
Design and develop PolicyCenter integrations with external systems, custom portals, message queues, and REST‑based services.
Provide technical leadership in domain‑driven design for Personal Lines or Commercial Lines, ensuring accurate policy, rating, and underwriting workflows.
Leverage Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA) and integration patterns to support reporting, downstream systems, and data governance needs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams while ensuring solution quality through code reviews and technical guidance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
6–8+ years of hands‑on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration development.
ACE‑certified Guidewire PolicyCenter professional with experience delivering at least two full‑lifecycle implementations in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines.
Proven experience implementing or migrating PolicyCenter v10 SaaS, including PCFs, business rules, data models, integrations, and cloud data access patterns.
