Ready to be the operations powerhouse behind the region's leading electrical distributor? Capital Electric is seeking a Lead Outbound Warehouse Associate to join our high-energy team in Charlotte, NC ! In this pivotal leadership role, you'll be the primary driver of all incoming and outgoing logistics, coordinating your team to ensure peak efficiency. Your mission: keep the warehouse running like a well-oiled machine and help us maintain our status as the undisputed "electrical distributor of choice" in the area!
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Logistics: Manage the complete journey of our products from arrival to shipment using Solar Eclipse software.
- Shipment Supremo: Oversee all incoming/outgoing logistics, upholding company standards for speed and accuracy.
- Team Lead & Coach: Guide warehouse associates through daily tasks like packaging, staging, loading, and general material movement.
- Quality Control Captain: Ensure every product leaving the warehouse meets our high bar for quality.
- Safety First Advocate: Maintain a clean, safe workplace operating within all SOPs and OSHA standards.
- PIT Master: Operate a variety of Forklifts
REQUIRMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bring 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience to the table (bonus points for electrical distribution know-how!).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to keep operations running smoothly.
- Solid foundational reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities.
- Possess a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and 70 lbs occasionally (safety first!).
- Must be a proficient, safety-conscious forklift operator
- Thrive on variety; you're flexible, a pro at multitasking, and ready for anything the day brings.
