Crate Builder
Join our team as a Crate Builder where you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates and pallets of varying sizes within a dynamic warehouse setting. Your role will also include operating a box truck to deliver products throughout the greater Raleigh area. This position requires physical strength, as you must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and it offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Build and assemble wooden crates and pallets of varying sizes.
- Operate a box truck to make deliveries in the greater Raleigh area.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including nail guns, drills, and saws.
- Read and interpret measurements and instructions to fabricate crates and pallets.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in crate building and carpentry, with a preference for 2+ years.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to understand and use a tape measure accurately.
- Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work EnvironmentWork takes place in a warehouse setting with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires the use of various hand and power tools, and adherence to safety protocols is paramount. The typical work attire is casual and appropriate for a warehouse environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
