Our client is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic team focused on SCR catalyst materials. This critical role supports both production and product development by performing chemical and physical testing on finished products and raw materials. You will be part of a team responsible for generating accurate, timely data that supports both internal and external customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical elemental analysis using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and ICP-MS .

• Conduct pore volume testing with mercury and nitrogen.

• Perform surface area testing and particle size/wet sieving analysis .

• Support water absorption testing as needed.

• Prepare samples (cutting, pulverization, pressing).

• Maintain sample logistics and ensure proper sample storage.

• Input results into database systems with precision.

• Uphold all laboratory safety procedures and ensure a clean work environment.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Adapt to varying internal customer demands, including potential shift work and weekend support.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field.

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience.

• Experience with XRF, ICP-MS, mercury and nitrogen pore size analyzers.

• Ability to follow SOPs and multitask efficiently.

• Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation and data management tools.

• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problem-solving.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical databases.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to mechanical noise , dust , and temperature fluctuations (cool to warm).

• Hands-on lab and production environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, sitting, and repetitive motions.

• Occasional standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and exposure to loud noises.

• Ability to communicate clearly to resolve operational issues.
