Chief Information Officer
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and strategic plan;
- Advise leadership on emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives across programs and operations;
- Collaborate with clinical, programmatic, and administrative leaders to integrate technology into patient care, health programs, and community services;
- Oversee the management of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity and data management;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive business value;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance and security;
- Manage budgets, resources and vendor relationships to regulate technology investments and performance;
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department and across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field;
- Master’s degree or MBA, preferred;
- 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible IT leadership experience;
- Experience managing health data privacy, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure;
- Experience working in Community Health Centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and/or behavioral health nonprofits, preferred;
- Experience with grant reporting, data dashboards, and/or program evaluation tools, preferred;
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing IT strategies in alignment with organizational goals;
- Impeccable IT knowledge and technical skills;
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations;
- High level of financial acumen;
- Able to apply fiscal understanding when reviewing projects at any phase;
- Innovative thinker with the ability to forecast and predict capabilities;
- Strong people management skills with the ability to relationship build;
- Deep understanding of data analytics, database platforms, and data security;
- Able to make crucial decisions regarding tactical, strategic, and operational functions;
- Able to remain disciplined and organized;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences;
- Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to equity, transparency, inclusion, and innovation;
- Capable of evaluating the possible effects and probability of a wide variety of cybersecurity threats;
- Deep understanding of EHR systems and healthcare compliance (HIPAA);
- Knowledge of technology infrastructures and how applications work;
- Able to lead cross-functional teams;
- Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Eagerness to learn;
- Strong presentation skills;
