Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details
- Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Hospital – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Cath Lab Tech Contract)
- Start Date: August 25, 2025
- End Date: November 24, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour days, 4 days/week
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2370 - $2430
- On-Call: Every 5th weekend (7am Saturday to 7am Monday)
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (5 beds, 25 staff members)
- Dress Code: Surgical Green Scrubs
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) or Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Experience with X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, istat, and Avox equipment preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Support structural heart procedures and advanced cardiac interventions
- Monitor and provide care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab and EP Lab equipment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
