Forklift Certified Material Handler
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Certified Material Handler to join our team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials throughout our facility. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to designated areas within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices in material handling.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
