Part-Time Dentist

This boutique private practice is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dentist to join their stable, long-term team. They offer a respectful, family-friendly environment focused on clinical excellence and mentorship. The position will begin as 1 day per week but will grow into additional days over time.

Location: 10 miles south of Uptown Charlotte

Compensation & Benefits

• Daily Guarantee: $850+, depending on experience and skillset.
• Production: 30% of production if it exceeds the daily rate.
• Future Growth: This Part-Time Dentist position includes partnership or buy-in potential after 2-3 years of proven clinical and growth-oriented fit.

Schedule & Role Overview

• Availability: 1 day per week (Tuesday or Wednesday preferred).
• Growth: Potential to add days as the practice continues to expand.
• Clinical Focus: As our Part-Time Dentist , you will provide high-quality general and cosmetic dentistry in a side-by-side or solo-day environment.
• Patient Base: Enjoy a steady flow of 20 new patients per month with no advertising and an existing 6–8 week backlog to help seed your schedule.

Practice Environment & Technology

• Facility: 4 operatories, expanding to 5 operatories following a Summer 2026 remodel.
• Patient Mix: 55% Fee-for-Service/Out-of-Network and 45% PPO.
• Digital Tools: Dentrix, Dexis digital sensors, iTero Lumina scanner, Nomad  X-ray.
• Support: Work alongside a supportive owner, experienced coordinators, and a dedicated hygiene/assistant team.

Requirements for the Part-Time Dentist

• Soft Skills: Must possess excellent communication and a relationship-based approach to care.
• Culture Fit: We are looking for high attention to detail and a warm chairside manner; dominant or cavalier personalities will not be a fit for our team.
• Experience: Any experience level considered; the owner is eager to provide mentorship to a new graduate Part-Time Dentist .
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in bread-and-butter restorative and simple extractions; Invisalign and/or simple endo skills are a plus.
