• Setting: Emergency Department (15 beds: 8 monitored, 7 non-monitored)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 23, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960
• RN Ratio: 1:5
• Number of Positions: 2 ER RN jobs available
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification – American Heart Association
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform nursing procedures
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and staff
